How Remote Engagements Are Structured
An 8-stage engineering process structured to align project scope, protect confidentiality where required, and deliver against agreed milestones.
Project Brief & Requirements
Share functional targets, known constraints, spatial envelopes and target timeline via our inquiry form.
Initial Engineering Review
Our technical team reviews the requirements to assess project feasibility, key unknowns and recommended next steps.
Confidentiality — If Required
Where confidentiality is required, NDA terms can be coordinated before sensitive technical information is exchanged.
Scope & Commercial Proposal
Commercial terms, scope boundaries, deliverables and project milestones are defined in the quotation or agreement.
Project Kickoff
Upon agreement, project parameters, timeline alignment and communication review points are established.
Engineering Execution
Technical work proceeds according to the agreed scope, which may include CAD design, simulation, or firmware development.
Validation / Review — Where Applicable
Where included in scope, deliverables undergo technical reviews, simulation checks, or prototype fit validation.
Deliverable Handoff
Agreed engineering deliverables—such as 3D CAD files, 2D production drawings, reports or documentation—are transferred.
Direct Technical Communication & Timezone Transparency
YantriX operates from India Standard Time (UTC+5:30). Meeting times for remote engagements are coordinated based on the client team, project requirements and mutually workable availability.
Remote engineering work can combine scheduled technical reviews with asynchronous written updates and documented action items.
Remote Communication Practices
Scheduled video calls, screen-sharing/CAD walkthroughs, written action items and project email communication can be used based on the engagement.
Project Confidentiality & IP Terms
Agreed NDA Support
Confidential projects can proceed under an agreed NDA before sensitive CAD, drawings, specifications or proprietary technical information are exchanged.
Defined Intellectual Property Terms
Confidentiality, intellectual-property ownership and permitted use of project materials are defined in the agreed commercial or project documentation.
Responsible Information Handling
Public case studies for confidential engagements are limited to non-confidential engineering context, and confidential project details are not intentionally published without appropriate authorization.
Technical File Exchange
Start with a project brief. Where CAD, drawings or other technical files are needed, YantriX will coordinate the appropriate file-sharing method after reviewing the inquiry.
NDA requirements can be discussed before confidential files are exchanged.
CAD & Engineering Formats
Common CAD and engineering formats can be coordinated based on the software and deliverables required for the project.
Remote Engineering in Practice
Our remote engineering workflows have been proven on complex robotic systems and commercial hardware programs.

6-DOF Teleoperated Robotic Manipulator Arm
Engineered for an overseas robotics startup. We executed cycloidal gearbox joint stacks, FEA link stiffness verification, internal cable routing, and machined component DFM under strict NDA confidentiality.
- Cycloidal gearbox integration & kinematic joint layout
- FEA structural deflection checks under 3 kg payload conditions
- 2D manufacturing drawings with ASME Y14.5 GD&T callouts
- Seamless remote collaboration between US founders and Surat engineers
Real Engineers Backed by a Physical India Studio
YantriX is not a software brokerage or remote freelancer network. We are an established, multidisciplinary engineering team operating from a physical studio in Mota Varachha, Surat.
Our facility houses in-house additive manufacturing equipment (in-house FDM, in-house SLA), bench assembly fixtures, electronics test benches, and digital measurement tools.
This physical foundation allows us to validate fits, tolerances, and mechanical movements physically where required before drawings are finalized for volume production.
Engineering Leadership

Physical Prototype Delivery
Where a project includes physical prototype delivery, logistics requirements can be discussed during project scoping. Parts are evaluated in Surat prior to dispatch.
YantriX handled the mechanical architecture of our teleoperated arm seamlessly. Their ability to design for manufacturing (DFM) saved us significant assembly time when we built the unit in the USA.
